Windows Desktop App
ProtoTrack is a native Windows companion. Extract the ZIP into a trusted folder, then run ProtoTrack.exe directly.
Token-based Sync
The app connects with your personal token and sends only selected session, run, drop, tier, and timer data to ProtoTrack.gg.
Manual Tracking
The app does not read inventory, stash, game memory, packets, or save files. Hotkeys only record the values you enter while farming.

If your antivirus quarantines the ZIP or executable, extract it to a folder you trust and only allow it manually when you trust the source. Keep your app token private; it links the Windows app to your account and active session.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible fix |
|---|---|
| No active session found | Start a session in the Windows app or on ProtoTrack.gg, then refresh or sync. |
| Sync fails | Check your app token and API URL. The default should point to ProtoTrack.gg. |
| Cannot end session | Sync pending runs or Prototype drops first. Ending is blocked while values are still pending. |
| Overlay blocks mouse | Toggle click-through mode from the app hotkey or overlay controls. |
| Antivirus blocks it | Allow it manually only if you trust the downloaded ProtoTrack build. |

Release History
Live Team Refresh Guard
- Refreshes active overlay sessions every 5 seconds so removed agents quickly fall back to No active session.
- Keeps idle overlay discovery slower at 15 seconds so newly added agents can still pick up a live session.
- Adds a confirmation warning before removing agents from an active web dashboard group session.
- Adds the same removal warning before applying Team updates in the Windows app.
Team Role Overlay Highlights
- Added a crown marker to the host chip in the Team Proto roster.
- Highlights the active group member with the highest Prototype count in gold.
- Keeps neutral styling when all Prototype counts are still zero.
- Preserves full agent names and the chip-based team layout from the previous overlay update.
Team Proto Chip Overlay
- Changed Team Proto from a plain text strip into a chip-based roster row.
- Shows each active group member as its own chip with full agent name and Prototype count.
- Gave the Team Proto row more room so 3-4 agents can wrap cleanly.
- Kept Sync status, mission, timer, and rate stats in their existing hierarchy while making the team row feel more intentional.
Full Team Proto Overlay
- Moved Team Proto into a full-width overlay row so all active group members can be shown.
- Stopped shortening agent names in the Team Proto list.
- Allowed the Team Proto list to wrap instead of hiding the third and fourth agent.
- Slightly increased the full overlay height so the expanded team row has room without crowding mission and rate stats.
Live Team Management
- Added host/admin controls to add or remove agents from active or paused group sessions without ending the session.
- Removed agents now keep their historical stats, but can no longer sync into the live session and no longer count toward new credited team runs.
- Added an Update Team button to the Windows app Session tab so the EXE can apply live group changes.
- Made Pause, Resume, End, mission switching, and team updates host-controlled in the Windows app and web API.
- Updated Overlay and Discord Presence team displays to use only active group members while keeping completed session breakdowns intact.
Target Loot Mission List
- Added Jefferson Plaza to the Session Dashboard, legacy dashboard, API, and Windows app mission lists.
- Removed Summit Floor 100, Countdown, and Prototype Gear Farm from session mission dropdowns.
- Added canonical aliases for Hotel Grand Washington, Pentagon, and DARPA Labs so old labels normalize to the Target Loot mission names.
Mission Switching Fix
- Fixed the Session Dashboard refresh so an opened session stays selected after switching missions, including admin-opened group sessions.
- Stopped the Windows app live refresh from resetting the mission dropdown back to the current mission while selecting a new target.
- Mission switching now preserves the completed/open session view instead of jumping back to the default active-session lookup.
Live Mission Switching
- Added host-controlled mission switching for active or paused solo and group sessions without ending the session.
- Session entries now store the mission that was active when each run or Prototype-only entry was synced.
- Added a Mission Breakdown table to the Session Dashboard with runs, team runs, Prototype drops, and team Exotics per mission.
- Session completion now keeps the completed operation open so the final breakdown is visible immediately.
- Discord completion posts now include a Mission Breakdown field when a session contains tracked entries.
- Added a Switch Mission control to the Windows app Session tab and refreshes Discord Presence after switching.
